Dr. Roland Weidl is head of the department System Integration and Technology Transfer at Fraunhofer IKTS in Hermsdorf and Dresden. After a study of Physics the at Justus-Liebig University Gießen and the PhD at the Friedrich-Schiller University Jena he was at first working as scientist for a Research Institute and from 2007-20014 for the company SCHOTT Solar where he was head of the department Product Technology and Product Management. In 2014 he joined Fraunhofer.
